Software Engineer: GUI
Organic Motion is the global leader in the development of breakthrough
markerless motion capture and analysis technologies. Our software
products utilize state-of-the-art computer vision techniques and high
performance graphics hardware to deliver an industry first set of
production, entertainment, and research tools for use in a variety of
industries.
We are seeking excellent C++ developers who have a passion designing and building GUIs. In this role you will be responsible for the design and development of our deliverable customer facing software as well as internal development and management GUIs. In developing your software you will be working with Organic Motion's core technologies and libraries. All our software has an element of either video or 3D graphics and so DirectX and OpenGL is manditory. It is expected that you will be able to go through a structured process for developing GUIs that involve gathering user requirements and moving through increasing fidelity models to ensure a usable GUI (ex: paper prototype, storyboarding, partially working mock etc.).
Successful candidates must have at least 2 - 5 years of experience in a professional development setting with a Bachelors or higher in a related field (CS/CE/EE).
Required Skills:
- C++, C#, Java etc.
- Windows/Linux/Mac
- QT & other cross platform GUI toolkits
- CMake
- OpenGL and DirectX
- Design patterns and OOD
- Scripting languages
Pluses:
- Agile (SCRUM) development process
- Production Environment (Unit testing, regression testing, product packaging)
- Parallel programming (GPGPU)
