BioStage
BioStage is a video-based turnkey motion tracking system that instantly generates real-time accurate 3D motion data for 21 bones as the user steps into the scan volume. Special suits or attached markers and sensors are not required
Researchers, educators, physicians, coaches and others involved with human movement science such as neurophysiological, biomechanical and biophysical research, clinical and sports applications, among others, can benefit from the technology’s plug and play simplicity
BioStage integrates seamlessly with motion analysis software as The MotionMonitor (TMM) and with 3rd party devices such as force platforms and EMG, becoming part of a full motion analysis solution for 3D kinematics, kinetics, EMG and video analysis
BioStage markerless motion tracking system requires no set up or calibration downtime between subjects, allowing the analysis of higher volumes of patients in time frames that were not possible before
Components:
Customizable Truss
Cameras
1. A scan space built using a customizable truss system covered with a reflective white cloth to maximize tracking accuracy
2. 14 monochrome cameras to capture 2D video of the person being tracked in the system, the second the user steps into the scan space
3D Tracking
MotionMonitor Integration
3. A Vision Processor that takes the information streaming from the 14 cameras and generates real-time full 3D motion data for 21 bones
4. Software plug-ins and SDK that seamlessly stream the real-time 3D position data into The MotionMonitor biomechanics software, or any other software that requires accurate real-time 3D motion data
Technical Specifications:
